Me and My Monday

Well unfortunately I do not have my camera thus there are not pictures so this isn't a really real entry for the cool "Me and My Monday" group but overall I had a really cool "Monday" so the post title seemed appropriate.

My day started with me getting to sleep in. Yes - that's what I said - "sleep in". Mom of a 15 month old who hasn't "slept in" since December 26, 2006 - it was heaven! And this was all because my wonderful, incredible husband of almost 8 years got up and got our son ready for a day at grandma's and took him there for me. Thanks, honey!

So I got up around 9am, lazily ate breakfast while reading blogs and by 11am I took a nap on the couch. Woke up for lunch and ate leftovers with Jim while still in my bathrobe. I did actually clean the kitchen and get laudry started before heading back to the couch to do emails, make phone calls and watch TV. I fell back asleep during Rachael Ray and woke up in time to jump in the shower and get ready for a girls night out with my good friend Kristy.

We went to La Paz - yummy Mexican food! And then to Starbucks and talked the night away. Just got home and I'm sitting here with my aforementioned husband, quite satisfied and grateful for such a lovely Monday!!!
